Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, proficiency in WordPress, and expertise in HTML, CSS, and jQuery to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design:
- Develop and implement innovative and user-centric design solutions for websites and web applications.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
Website Development:
- Utilize WordPress to design and customize responsive and dynamic websites.
- Implement and maintain website features and functionality to enhance the user experience.
- Front-End Development:
- Code and implement responsive and pixel-perfect HTML and CSS for web pages.
- Enhance interactivity and user engagement through the use of jQuery and other front-end technologies.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and content creators, to ensure cohesive design and functionality.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs to meet project goals.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure compatibility, responsiveness, and overall quality.
- Identify and address design-related issues and bugs.
- Staying Current:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices.
- Continuously refine and improve design processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects.
- Proficiency in WordPress customization and theme development.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end development.
- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other CMS platforms and e-commerce solutions.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
