Android Versions List | Connect Infosoft Technologies
As we know, Android is the world’s most popular mobile platform and has been releasing many versions. The version history of the Android mobile operating system began with the release of the Android beta in November 2007. The first commercial version, Android 1.0, was released in September 2008. Android is under ongoing development by Google.
Each version of Android since 1.5 has been developed with a specific codename. These codenames are selected alphabetically, and have thus far all been sweet items (sweet/sugary foods). Some codenames are related with more than one version number, while others are confined to only a specific one.
